Man hospitalized following shooting

By BBN Staff: A Belize City man is hospitalized following a shooting incident last night.

Reports are that Justin Stephens,25, was standing in front of a car wash on New Road just after 6 p.m. when a gunman emerged from a nearby alley and opened fire on him.

Stephens was shot to the body and later taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hosptial from treatment. Stephens’ condition was listed as critical but stable. Police are investigating the incident.
