Police investigate shooting incident in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred yesterday morning in Belize City.

Around 11:45 a.m. Francis Arana and two other people were sitting on the steps of his home when a lone gunman approached them.

The gunman shot Arana and then escaped.

Arana was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.

An investigation is on-going.
