Fair weather expected to continue

The National Meteorological Service of Belize expects that generally fair weather conditions will continue today as a light easterly to north-easterly airflow moves over the country.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight. There will be a few isolated showers during the day and those will increase mainly over the south tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 84 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 88 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 76 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 77 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 66 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East-Northeast between 5-15 knots and the sea state will be light chop-choppy.

There will be high tide at 7:35 a.m. and low tide at 1:16 p.m. The sun will set at 5:15 p.m. and the moon will rise at 8:58 a.m.
