Slight increase in moisture expected

The latest weather report issued by the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that a light northeasterly airflow will bring a slight increase in moisture over some areas today and tonight.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and cloudy spells tonight. Showers will occur mostly over the south and along some coastal areas tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 84 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 88 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 77 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 75 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 70 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 66 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing North-Northeast between 5-10 knots and the sea state will be slight.

There will be high tide at 8:39 a.m. and low tide at 1:58 p.m. The sun will set at 5:15 p.m. and the moon will set at 3:59 p.m.
