Burglar ties up woman, raids home

By BBN Staff:  A woman and her friend are alive after an aggravated burglary last night.

Doretta Vernon told police that just before 9 p.m. she was at home on Raccoon Street Extension, Belize City when a man entered armed with a knife.

That man reportedly tied Vernon to her friend and burglarized her residence.

Fortunately, no one was physically injured.
