Fun activities in San Ignacio and Santa Elena this week

BBN’s Journalist, Zoila Gonzalez went looking for some. Here is what she found:

Sacred Heart Junior College (SHJC) is hosting an open day on Thursday, November 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Everyone is invited to take advantage of special promotions on admission fees, guidance for scholarship applications and marketing group promotions. Students and potential students can also enter for a chance to win a full scholarship raffle.

Tomorrow is also Thanksgiving in the United States of America (USA), and many Belizean-Americans and Americans living in Belize celebrate with their delicious Turkey dinners.

There will be a great deal on a turkey dinner fundraising drive done by the Santa Elena Baptist Primary School and for those looking for the traditional American feast, the Aguada is also catering for Turkey dinner. Look out for these and more great deals.

Then on Friday, November 29, Ka’ana is having a meet and greet with Nailah Blackman, renowned Trinidadian singer, and songwriter and Notch- reggae, dancehall, and reggaeton artist. This event begins at 7:00 p.m.

Note for parents, November 29, also marks the ending of the first term for primary school students.

On Saturday, November 30, Atlantic Bank San Ignacio branch is hosting its annual Christmas Loan Fair. Customers are invited to come and find out more about their convenient repayment terms.  The fair will be held at the Atlantic Bank compound on the Corner of Columbus Park and Burns Avenue. Participating businesses include Palma’s Lumber and Supplies, Dibary, Recino’s Imports, Vega’s Distributors, A and R, and Triple J Furniture.
