By BBN Staff: A relatively moist easterly airflow over the country is expected to bring some showers today, according to the latest weather report prepared by the National Meteorological Service of Belize.
The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny with some cloudy spells today and mostly cloudy tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur mostly over central areas this morning, then increasing to affect most areas this afternoon and this evening, and mostly central and southern areas tonight.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 84 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 86 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 80 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 75 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be blowing East-Northwest between 10-20 knots and the sea state will be choppy-moderate.
There will be high tide at 11:05 a.m. and low tide at 3:59 p.m. The sun will set at 5:16 p.m. and the moon will set today at 6:27 p.m.
