Decrease in moisture expected today

By BBN Staff: After days of increased moisture, the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that moisture levels are expected to decrease today, bringing about generally fair weather conditions.

The 24-hour forecast calls for skies to be sunny today becoming clear to partly cloudy tonight. A few showers will occur over some southern and inland areas this morning, decreasing and becoming isolated this afternoon. 

Today’s temperature highs will range from 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 90 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 78 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East-Northeast between 5-15 knots and the sea state will be moderate. 

There will be high tide at 12:25 a.m. and low tide at 5:21 p.m. The sun will set at 5:16 p.m. and the moon will rise at 8:54 a.m.
