US Embassy in Belize provides consular assistance to tourists involved in road traffic accident

By BBN Staff: The United States Embassy in Belize issued a statement today informing that they have been made aware of U.S. citizen casualties resulting from the traffic accident on November 28, 2019, near Orange Walk, Belize. 

This is a separate incident from the one on George Price Highway on November 27, 2019. 

“We are providing all appropriate consular assistance and are monitoring the local authorities’ investigation.   We extend our sincerest condolences to families of those lost in both accidents,” the statement from the Embassy said.

Out of consideration for those involved, the embassy has no further information at this time.
