Chamberlain Consulting hosting leadership seminar in Belize City

Posted: Sunday, December 1, 2019. 9:47 pm CST.

By BBN Staff: Chamberlain Consulting, the company that hosted the Belize site for the global leadership conference Leadercast 2019, is hosting a leadership seminar in Belize City this week.

The seminar which focuses on the theme “Leaders and followers: inspiring others to take action,” will feature Cambridge University Professor Richard Hill. The seminar will be held at the Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (BCCI)’s McField Conference Room on Wednesday, December 4.

Breaking Belize News (BBN) spoke with Dr. Dionne Chamberlain-Miranda, founder of Chamberlain Consulting who explained that the seminar dives into the need for effective leader/follower relationships, the ways in which they manifest themselves and tactics, approaches, and behaviors that can be used to make them healthy, productive, and impactful.

“One of the biggest challenges a leader faces is in getting others to follow their lead and take forward the tasks that need to be completed to
create success. How can we ensure that those around us take ownership of the things that we need them to do? One route to a solution is understanding the complexity of the leader/follower relationship and the responsibilities and understanding that we have as leaders to make this relationship work,” she added.

Chamberlain Consulting is also using the event to make a donation in support of activities for Disabilities Week 2019. Interested persons can call 672-0848 to sign up.
