Police investigate murder of Richard Smith

By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating the murder of Hattieville resident Richard Smith.

According to police reports, Smith and another man were socializing on Friday night before Smith left to go home through a shorter route near mile 17 on the George Price highway.

Shortly after Smith left, residents heard shots rang out.

Smith was then found on Farmers Site road with gunshot injuries.

 Police are investigating.
