Belize opens UNCAF-FIFA Forward U-15 tournament

By Aaron Humes: After a disappointing year for the national A team, the Football Federation of Belize (FFB) is putting its trust in the youth process.

An Under-13 side secured CODICADER bronze and other national sides did well in regional play.

Tonight, Belize opens against Nicaragua in the Under-15 tournament at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium. On Tuesday they play archrivals Guatemala, and on Wednesday El Salvador in Group A. Costa Rica, Honduras and Panama are in Group B.

The semifinals and finals wrap up the week on Friday and Saturday.
