Taiwan supports Belize to facilitate international representation

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belize received support from the Embassy of the Republic of Taiwan to facilitate international representation.

The support was provided in the context of an ongoing project for the institutional strengthening of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Countries of the Central American Isthmus, which Taiwan has generously funded.

The funds will be used to support Belize’s external representation.

Belize and Taiwan have enjoyed 30 years of diplomatic relations, which was commemorated this year.

The two countries share special bilateral relations through which political, economic and social bonds have been fortified.
