Jordy Usher’s family seeks assistance for surgeries

By BBN Staff: The family of Georgeville resident, Jordy Usher, is seeking public assistance for monetary donations to contribute to the surgeries that the young man needs to undergo.

Jordy’s mother, Margaret explained that her son’s jaw is broken as well as his nose and he will need to undergo several surgeries. The first of those surgeries costs $16,000. Anyone wishing to assist the family can contact her at 604-8358.

Usher was shot by police after being pursued on Saturday night from Santa Elena to Georgeville.

The identity of the officer involved has not been released.

Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams, has since ordered a criminal and  internal investigation into this incident.
