BDF soldier bitten by venomous snake at Cadenas Observation post

By BBN Staff: Reports to Breaking Belize News (BBN) is that a soldier of the Belize Defense Force (BDF) stationed at the Cadenas Observation post was bitten today by a venomous snake.

The officer was reportedly airlifted and taken for medical treatment.

The Cadenas Observation post is located in the south-westernmost part of Belize’s border with Guatemala.

We will provide more details when an official report is released.

BBN extends well-wishes to the soldier and hopes for a speedy recovery.
