Lights and ammunition found near burnt aircraft in Chan Chen

By BBN Staff: Authorities have issued an official report regarding the discovery of a suspected narco plane found burnt in Chan Chen, Corozal yesterday.

Police reports indicate that about a quarter of a mile north west of Chan Chen village, authorities saw a twin-engine aircraft with markings N5461.

The aircraft was burnt to ashes and no one was in the immediate area at the time of the discovery.

Near the burnt plane, officers found 11 small aluminum buckets, four portable rechargeable LED lights, and a black magazine containing 34 live rounds of 7.62 rounds of ammunition.

Police are investigating.
