Miss Universe Belize – Destinee Arnold counts down to Miss Universe 2019

By BBN Staff: Miss Universe Belize, Destinee Arnold and Belizeans are counting down to the prestigious Miss Universe pageant, which is now just a day away.

Beauty ambassadors from over 90 countries will participate for the crown of Miss Universe 2019.

Arnold is the founder of “The Village” organization that aims to gather resources from Belize and the diaspora in order to assist organizations such as Hope for Life.

Arnold contributes positively to her community by working with the non-profit organization, Hope for Life.

She says that simply being Belizean is her superpower.

“I knew that I would proudly wear my country’s name draped over my chest like a superhero…being Belizean is my superpower. Because of Belize, I see beauty in everything. My scars are reminders of my triumphs and my love is never-ending. It’s time for us to share our superpower. We’re a small country however Belize is packaged with loving, humble, hard-working people who raise empowered women like me,” Arnold says.

The Miss Universe 2019 will be hosted at the newly inaugurated Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia on December 8.

Belizeans at home and abroad are rooting for Arnold’s performance at the pageant.

The three-hour show, hosted by Steve Harvey for the fifth consecutive year, will be broadcast live on Fox and Telemundo.
