Police investigate house fire in San Ignacio

By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire that occurred yesterday in San Ignacio.

Carmita Salazar of Independence Street in San Ignacio Town reported that around 7:30 a.m. she was informed that her snack shop was on fire.

The snack shop is located beside of her home.

The fire quickly spread to the side of her house and caused damage to the roof and household items.

The snack shop and its contents were completely destroyed.

The fire was extinguished by the Fire Department.

Fortunately, no one was injured.
