Home invasion reported in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating a burglary that occurred in Belize City.

Argenize Caballero, 22; Nubia Banos, 35 and a 17-year-old minor reported to police that they were at a home on Samuel Haynes street in Belama Phase 1, when two masked men entered their home.

The culprits held them up at gunpoint and tied them.

 The culprits then ransacked the house and stole an assortment of liquor, jewelry, electronics, cash, a cell phone and a pellet gun.

Police have since recovered an assortment of liquors and the pellet gun.

 An investigation is on-going.
