New Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters in Belmopan almost complete

By BBN Staff: Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Wilfred Elrington received the second and final tranche of payment for the construction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Headquarters in the City of Belmopan.

The Government of Taiwan has partnered with the Government of Belize to provide the necessary funding for the construction of the 20,000 gross square footage modern and sustainable facility.

The facility is now 70% complete and is expected to be fully completed by June 2020.

Taiwan remains a committed and consistent partner to the development of Belize.
