Increase in moisture expected

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that moist weather conditions are expected to increase today.

The 24-hour forecast says that the day will be cloudy at times with a few showers mainly offshore this morning, then spreading to the mainland this afternoon and tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast to 87 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 76 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 74 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 68 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 63 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing North-Northeast between 5-15 knots and the sea state will be light chop to choppy.

There will be a high tide at 11:23 a.m. and a low tide at 4:06 p.m..

The sun will set at 5:19 p.m. and the moon will rise at 6:55 p.m..
