Moist condition continue to dominate weather

Moist conditions will continue to dominate the weather today, according to the latest weather report issued by the National Meteorological Service of Belize.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur mostly over the sea and over southern areas. Elsewhere, showers will be isolated.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast to 88 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 78 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 75 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 70 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 64degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

The wind direction will be variable, blowing between 5-10 knots and the sea state will be slight-light chop.

There will be a low tide at 4:46 p.m. and a high tide at 11:19 p.m.

The sun will set at 5:20 p.m. and the moon will rise at 7:55 p.m.
