Police operations net several illegal firearms in San Pedro: three men charged

By BBN Staff: Police operations in northern San Pedro on Thursday led to the discovery of several firearms and the arrest of three men from the island.

Police found one .25mm pistol along with two .25 live rounds, a .45 Auto with five .45 live rounds, and a .22 revolver pistol along with 27 live rounds. No one was found in the vicinity of the weapons so they were labeled as found property.

Police also searched the residences of Marcus Garcia, 25, Alex Matura 22, and Mathew Moses, 41, in separate operations. Each man was found with a firearm and ammunition and was unable to produce licenses for them.

Police have arrested all three and charged them with “Kept Firearm and Ammunition without a gun license.”
