Woman dies in traffic accident

By BBN Staff: A woman lost her life in a road traffic accident yesterday afternoon near Mile 13 on the Stann Creek Valley Road.

Police reports indicate that a white van and a Toyota Highlander collided head on.

The van was being driven by Aziz Ariola, 20, and the Highlander was being driven by Beverly Flores.

Lydia Weller was traveling with Flores at the time of the accident.

Weller sustained internal injuries and died shortly after.

Police investigations continue.
