Moist and unstable weather conditions expected today

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize’s latest weather report says that moist and unstable conditions will dominate the weather today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy spells with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly along the coast and over the north today, decreasing tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast to 90 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 78 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 70 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 66 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East-Southeast between 5-15 knots and the sea state will be moderate.

The low tide began at 7:22 a.m. and there will be high tide at 1:39 p.m.

The sun will set at 5:21 p.m. and the moon will rise at 9:57 p.m.
