Sharing Christmas cheer in Santa Elena

By BBN Staff: Christmas is a time of sharing and caring and businesses and organizations all over Belize are sharing Christmas cheer with families and friends.

Santa Elena based businesses, Whipped Cafe, Palma’s Lumber and Supplies and Santa Elena Furniture Gallery joined forces to spread Christmas cheer to families in their community.

The food hampers and treats were jointly sponsored by the 3 businesses.

Owner of Palma’s Lumber and Supplies, Alberto Palma told us that the annual sharing of Christmas cheer is a way to give back to the community and help those families most in need. He hopes that more businesses can join in and share with families around the community.

“We blessed some families today with some food items and treats. Our 3 businesses joined and planned to give back and help families in our community. We do it every year and we are hoping that more businesses can join and assist so that together we can reach more families. We attached a note to the hampers wishing them a merry Christmas and blessings for the new year,” Palma said.
