Traffic accident in Santa Elena claims life of Jaime Williams

By BBN Staff:  A road traffic accident on La Loma Luz Boulevard in Santa Elena has claimed the life of Jaime Williams.

Breaking Belize News broke the story minutes after the terrible accident around 9:30 p.m.

Williams’ vehicle reportedly crashed into a fence near the new bridge linking Santa Elena to San Ignacio.

The vehicle crashed into the fence and overturned. Williams was flung into nearby bush and died on impact.

Several neighbors in the area told BBN that they are gravely concerned about their safety and the safety of motorists. They are appealing for a pedestrian ramp to be installed at the entrance to the bridge.
