BDF officer accidentally shoots himself

By BBN Staff: Reports to BBN’s newsdesk is that an officer of the Belize Defense Force accidentally shot himself to the leg this afternoon in Punta Gorda.

The officer was reportedly cleaning a weapon when the weapon discharged.

The officer was rushed for medical treatment.
