Body of missing Belmopan minor found

By BBN Staff:  The body of missing Belmopan teenager, 17 year old Damion Bregal was found late this evening on the Young Gyal road in Teakettle Village. Belmopan police were able to identify the body based on belongings that were found on him.

Bregal’s body was found a few miles down the Young Gyal road, past Dream Valley Resort, on the right hand pathway leading down to the Belize River. The body will be retrieved tomorrow and it is anticipated that the forensic pathologist will do an onsite post-mortem due to the state of decomposition.

Bregal was last seen on Friday, December 13, 2019 when he left his home around 7:00 pm and headed to an unknown location. Brigal did not return home and his family filed a report with the police, who then issued a missing person alert.

When Brigal went missing he was wearing a white T-Shirt, ¾ black Dickies pants and white socks.
