The latest weather report, issued by the National Meteorological Service of Belize, says that relatively moist and unstable conditions will prevail today ahead of a cold front expected to cross the country late on Wednesday.
The 24-hour forecast calls for some cloudy spells today, becoming mostly cloudy tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur mostly over northern and central areas at first today, increasing to have some showers and thunderstorms over inland areas this afternoon and spreading to most areas tonight.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast to 90 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 75 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 71 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 66 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be blowing East between 00-10 knots and the sea state will be light chop-choppy.
There will be a low tide at 8:14 a.m. and a high tide at 2:30 p.m.
The sun will set at 5:21 p.m. and the moon will rise at 10:57 p.m.
