A minor and 4 adults missing at sea; search continues

By BBN Staff: Reports to BBN is that Belizean authorities have launched a search near Goff Caye and Water Caye for 4 adults and 1 minor who are reportedly missing at sea.

The Belize Coast Guard reportedly received a distress call early this morning and the occupants of the boat were in need of urgent assistance.

Authorities have responded with hopes of finding the missing Belizeans.

Sailors are advised to be on the lookout for the vessel and the persons.
