Cool and moist weather to continue through weekend, expected to decrease on Monday

The latest weather update from the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that cool and moist conditions will prevail tonight and through tomorrow, eventually decreasing on Monday.

The 24-hour forecast calls for variably cloudy skies with periods of light rain over the country and a few showers or isolated thunderstorms offshore tonight and tomorrow morning. Then a few showers, periods of rain and isolated thunderstorms will develop mostly over northern and central areas tomorrow afternoon.
The outlook calls for mostly cloudy skies with a few showers, periods of rain and isolated thunderstorms occurring over most places Sunday night and decreasing on Monday morning.

Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 72 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 68 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 64 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds are blowing North-Northwest between 5-15 knots and the sea state will be light chop to choppy.

There will be low tide tomorrow at 1:05 a.m. and high tide at tomorrow at 7:40 a.m.

The sun will rise tomorrow at 5:23 a.m.The moon rises tomorrow at 2:47 a.m.
