Police rescue kidnapping/assault victim

By BBN Staff: Police arrived in time today to save a man that was being beaten by five other men.

Reports are that police were informed of a situation behind Tapir & Bar Deck/Hotel, near Mile 3 on the George Price Highway, where they found a blue SUV parked on the side of the road and the group beating up one Dorian August.

Due to the severity of his injuries, police had to immediately take August to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for treatment, but their intervention possibly saved his life.

At the scene, police detained Delroy Flowers, 20; Bernard Lynch, 31; Clive Stanford, 20; Oliver Solis, 28; and a minor, 16. The group is being held while a kidnapping investigation is underway.
