Boat stolen in Placencia

By BBN Staff: A boat was stolen in Placencia sometime between last night and this morning.

The owner, Jason Westby, told our newsroom that he was scheduled to go on a fly fishing trip early this morning when he found that his 23-foot skiff “Emma Jades” had been stolen. Westby said that he found a cut chain and padlock at the scene.

The vessel is white with green lines along the bottom and has the registration number SC 0693. It also has a Yamaha 60 hp 4 stroke outboard engine with serial number S1007184.

Anyone with information on the boat is asked to contact the nearest police station.
