The Mesopotamia Children’s Holiday Festival brought out a galaxy of Music stars like Supa G, Ernestine, Cocunu Bwai, TR Shine, Positive Vibes, Titi Man Flores, Johnny P & the Garifuna drummers along with Jankunu dancers.

It was the biggest children’s show ever on the South Side of Belize thanks to UDP Representative Shyne Barrow.

Over 1000 children & their parents were treated to toys, hot dogs, cupcakes, cotton candy, popcorn, drinks, and even the paletas man came with ice cream sticks.

Mickey & Minnie Mouse made a special appearance and the children loved taking pictures as much as they loved the trampoline, bouncy house, barbies, black panthers, skateboards, guitars, frozen, lol dolls and other popular toys they received at the end of the festival.

Shyne Barrow says “giving back to the people of Mesopotamia gives him great joy.” He said the festival was a fitting celebration and thanked the people who have been so loyal to the United Democratic Party.

The Mesopotamia Constituency has voted for the UDP since 1979 when they elected Curl Thompson and then Michael Finnegan in 1993.

Shyne Barrow says he is grateful for the loyalty and love of the Mesopotamia people and is humbled to serve them, especially during the holidays when turkeys need to be put on the table and toys under the tree.
