Chantouse Martinez succumbs weeks after Antelope Street shooting

By BBN Staff:  Police informed that Chantouse Martinez, 16, succumbed to her injuries yesterday while receiving treatment at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.

Martinez was shot 7 times on November 4th during an incident on Antelope Street in Belize City. In the same incident, a 1 year old child was also shot to the hand. The baby was treated and released.

At the time of the incident, police had detained two suspects.
