BEL: Tonight is the final power outage for Caye Caulker

By BBN Staff:  Over the past five days, residents in Caye Caulker have been suffering from a string of power outages.

However, in a statement, issued by Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) tonight might be the last power outage.

The company is asking the public who may have their own generators to turn it on after 5 p.m. today as they complete the needed repairs.

BEL apologizes for the inconvenience and notes that they have been working to repair a faulty generation unit that supplies power to the island.
