Burglars caught in the act up north!

By BBN Staff: On Friday night before 9 o’clock, Nancy Chable and her common-law husband encountered three men ransacking their home in the Santa Rita Layout area of Corozal town.

Her common-law husband reportedly fired several warning shots during which the men escaped without injury.

Police later detained Belize City resident, Avery Bain, 19, and a minor, 17.

They were both charged with burglary and handling stolen goods.

As police hunt down the third suspect, several of the stolen items have since been recovered.
