The latest weather report prepared by the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that weather conditions will be cloudy, windy, and cool today in the wake of a cold front that crossed the country yesterday evening.

The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy to overcast skies with light rain affecting coastal and offshore areas and little to no rain elsewhere.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 76 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 78 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 70 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 66 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 60 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be gusty, blowing North-Northwest 10-20 knots and the sea state will be moderate to rough. A small craft caution remains in effect for gusty winds and locally rough seas.

There will be low tide at 11:45 a.m. and a high tide at 5:45 p.m.

The sun will set at 5:31 p.m. and the moon will rise at 1:29 a.m.
