President Donald Trump: ‘God is on our side’; Renowned evangelicals pledge support

By BBN Staff: The 45^th President of the United States of America, Donald Trump has been able to garner overwhelming support from Evangelicals in the USA.

On Friday, Trump attended an event in Florida called “ Evangelicals for Trump”.

Apostle and Pastor, Guillermo Maldonado led the prayer session at the commencement of the event.

President Trump told the 7,000 attendees that “God is on our side”.

“ A nation without faith cannot endure because justice, goodness, and peace cannot prevail without the Glory of Almighty God,” Trump noted.

“We must renew faith and family as the center of American life,” Trump asserted.

“I really do believe we have God on our side. I believe that. I believe that, or there would have been no way we could have won, right? People say how do you win, you don’t have the media, you have so many things against you, and we win. So, there has to be something.”

The event was hosted at King Jesus International Ministry in Kendall, Florida.

Renowned pastors at the event included James and Shirley Dobson, Robert Jeffress, Cissie Graham Lynch, Alveda King, Jack Graham, and Alberto Delgado.

Famed televangelist, Paula White who was also recently named White House aide was also at the event.

Trump thanked the evangelicals for their support in 2016 and vowing to sweep the numbers in 2020.
