Rockets hit green-zone near US Embassy in Baghdad

By BBN Staff: Tensions have escalated between the United States of American and Iran following violent protests at the US Embassy in Baghdad and the US ordered drone missile that killed top Iranian commander, Qassem Soleimani.

Six rockets reportedly fell today including three inside the green-zone housing government buildings and foreign missions.

Google searches for World War 3 spiked within hours of the airstrike that killed Soleimani.

US President, Donald Trump has vowed to hit fast and hard in an event of retaliation for the killing of Soleimani.

The President said that the US has identified 52 Iranian sites to hit if the country launches revenge attacks.

The attacks came as Iraq’s parliament voted to expel all foreign troops.
