Taxi driver shot in San Jose

By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating a shooting incident that occurred tonight in San Jose, Orange Walk.

According to reports, around 6:20 p.m. a masked gunman began shooting at a white taxi car.

The car came to a halt and the occupants, a man and a woman exited the vehicle

The lone gunman entered the vehicle and drove off.

The taxi operator was observed with gunshot injuries. He was taken to the Northern Regional Hospital for treatment.

He has been identified as Ricardo Uk.
