Body found in Southern Belize

By BBN Staff:  Reports to Breaking Belize News are that a body was found in Seine Bight, Stann Creek District this evening.

The victim has been identified as Alejandro Guzman, a Mexican national who worked as a caretaker in Seine Bight.

His body was reportedly found with chop wounds and sources informed BBN that the robbers attempted to set the property on fire but they were unable to do so.

Guzman is the second murder victim of 2020.

Police are investigating.
