Two brothers detained for slaughter of Mexican national

By BBN Staff: Police have detained two brothers in connection with the murder of Mexican national, Gabriel Alejandro Guzman, 46.

He was chopped and stabbed and almost set on fire in his home in Placencia earlier this week.

One of the detainees, a male minor, is to be charged later today.

His older brother is to face charges tomorrow.

Police say it was an act of apparent burglary.

Several stolen items have since been recovered.
