The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that a relatively moist easterly airflow prevails over the country and is bringing clouds and showers.
The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny weather with cloudy spells and a few showers mostly over the northern and central areas today, then along with possible isolated thunderstorms, mainly over the south and some coastal areas tonight.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 88 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 78 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be gusty, blowing East between 10-20 knots and the sea state will be moderate to rough. A small craft caution remains in effect for occasionally gusty winds and rough seas.
There will be a high tide at 11:48 a.m. and a low tide at 4:53 p.m.
The sun will set at 5:36 p.m. and the moon will rise at 7:47 p.m.
