Former accused murderer critical after shooting last night

By BBN Staff: Last night a man was shot in Belize City.

He has since been identified as security guard, Michael Pook.

Just before midnight, he was on duty near the corner of Poinsettia and Tibruce Street when he was shot.

At this time he remains in a critical condition at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.

Our records show that last March Pook and his two brothers walked free from the 2011 murder of Errol “Lighter” Ferguson.
