By BBN Staff: Shortly after 1 o’clock this morning, there was a fire in Belize City.
It occurred on Tamarind Street in the vicinity of the Jane Usher Boulevard community.
A neighbor saw a 35 by 25 wooden home on fire.
She immediately contacted the Fire Department but when they arrived the structure was already consumed.
Fortunately, at the time of the fire, the house was unoccupied.
