Mayor Bernard Wagner to donate $5,000 to medical expenses for abused boys

By BBN Staff: Belize City Mayor, Bernard Wagner, has pledged $5,000 to assist two boys that remain hospitalized after they were purportedly physically and sexually abused by their stepfather over the weekend.

According to a statement by the Belize City Council, the Mayor expressed his condemnation of this act against the children and also expressed his condolences to their extended family.

In addition to the financial assistance for medical expenses, Mayor Wagner is prepared to offer grief therapy sessions to the relatives of the injured boys.
