By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that a moderate to gusty easterly airflow is prevailing over the country bringing winds, clouds, and showers to most areas.
The 24-hour forecast calls for the weather to be cloudy at times with some brief showers and possible isolated thunderstorms over most areas today, then a few showers and possible isolated thunderstorms will affect mainly the north and coast tonight.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 82 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 78 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 66 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be gusty, blowing East between 10-20 knots and the sea state will be moderate to rough. A small craft caution is in effect for gusty winds and rough seas.
There will be a high tide at 12:29 a.m. and a low tide at 5:47 p.m.
The sun will set at 5:36 p.m. and the moon will rise at 8:49 p.m.
