Kenrick Longsworth charged for murder and grievous harm

By BBN Staff:  The news of a man attacking three children resulting in the death of a 3-year-old toddler sent shock waves across Belize on Friday night.

Belizeans united to demand justice for the loss of life of the baby and for the physical, mental, emotional and sexual abuse caused to these children.

On Monday, January 13, 2020, police formally arrested and charged the children’s stepfather, Kenrick Longsworth, 27, for murder and two counts of grievous harm.

Longsworth went into hiding on Friday night until police found and detained him on Sunday in Isabella Bank.
